｢かあちゃん、どらちゃんの水入れどうしたの？｣
といつになく怒った様子の下の娘。
そういえば洗面所の排水が悪く、
水入れかたつけたままだった。
どらちゃんの水は下の娘の仕事だった。
どらちゃんがいなくなっても
毎日お水あげていてくれたね。
いまだにどらちゃんと一緒に寝ていた部屋には
入れないやさしい娘。
ごめんね、かあちゃん思いやりが足りなかった。
どらちゃんと散歩した道の木々によーく見ると
新しい芽が生まれていた。
どらちゃんが残してくれたこと
大切にして生きていくよ。
冬芽に勇気をもらいました。
The winter buds gave us courage.
In Dora-chan's memory, let's take
good care of the life Dorami left behind.

Emi-chan's way of working out her grief is continuing to give fresh water to Dorami's spirit. She is a tender-hearted child, and thoughtful to honor Dorami's memory this way.
Likewise, you are showing love for Dorami by caring for the new life sprung forth by Nature near Dora-chan's dish. To continue to show kindness and caring is the best tribute to Dorami's sweet memory.
