梅の香りに誘われて

二月の花といえばなんといっても
梅の花が一番。
どらみと一緒に散歩していたら
梅の芳しい香りがほのかに漂ってきました。
梅の香りに誘われて行くと
多くの白い梅の中に一本ピンクの梅が咲いていましたよ。

When I took a walk with Dorami,
I noticed the fragrance of plum blossoms in the air.
Lured by the sweet smell,
we discovered one pink flowering tree among many white ones.

Chinese dog?

どらみと訳あって遠出です。

静岡への途中、
浜名湖サービスエリアでの休憩タイムをとりました。

そこには中国からの旅行者がたくさん訪れていました。
中国犬パグのどらみに気づいて微笑んだり、
口笛を吹いてくれたり好意的でしたよ。
それは多分日本人が海外で柴犬や秋田犬を見た時と
同じ感覚なんだろうね。

When driving with Dorami to　Shizuoka,
we took a rest at the Hamanako service area
where many Chinese tourists happened to be visiting.
Noticing Dorami, a Chinese pug,

they smiled and whistled kindly at her.
Perhaps any Japanese person would do the same overseas
if they saw a Shiba or Akita dog.

生協セール日

先週の日曜日、近くの生協のセールに出かけました。
すると、ドアの近くに可愛いスピッツが誰かを待っていました。
一緒に外で待っていたお父さんにお話を聞くと
生協で買い物中のお母さんを待っているという事でした。
名前はナナチャン女の子です。
行きかう人には視線を向けず、ずっと出口をみているナナチャンが愛らしい。
しばらくして、お母さんがアラアラ反対の出口から出てきちゃいました。

生協のセールの日に
三品好きなものを１０パーセント引いてもらえる券を持ってきました。
お店は久しぶりに繁盛していました。
I went to the Co-op store with 10%　off discount ticket.
The coupon was for 10% off any three items I chose.
The store hadn't been so crowded with eager shoppers in a long time.
